Senior Economist
Nassim Oulmane is a senior economist at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. He currently heads the Green and Blue Economy Section, at the Technology, Climate Change, and Natural Resource Management Division of the ECA headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Holding a PhD. in Economics from the University of Montpellier I, France, Nassim Oulmane is specialized in sustainable development, international trade, and development policy issues, as well as international economic relations, which he has taught in several universities in Africa, Asia, and Europe. He has also held various positions as an economist in several economic institutions.
