Development Economist
Atkeyelsh Persson is a Development Economist and holds a PhD in Development Studies from University of Cape Town (UCT), MSc in Environmental Management and Policy from International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE), and Master of International Public Health (MPH) from Faculty of Medicine of Lund University, Sweden. She is currently working as Economic Affairs Officer at the Development Planning Section of Macroeconomics and Governance Division, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). Her research work on development issues have been published in accredited Scientific Journals and Academic Book Publishers. It has also been disseminated at international workshops.
